“Lucy” is the mother (dam) of our litter, and below you will find her health summary. She is AKC registered and has her AKC pedigree, her Embark DNA Genetic testing, and her PENN hip clearances. The Embark DNA Genetic test looks at 255 different genetic health risks (including the 11 most common issues with Goldens), which is incredibly comprehensive!

Through our many puppy families who have faithfully given us updates as their puppies have grown, we also have the benefit of anecdotally knowing the health history of the six generations of Goldens in her line, which is an absolutely invaluable piece of information. Her line has seen many dogs with great longevity, some even living to fifteen or sixteen years of age! We have no known reports of hip dysplasia, elbow dysplasia, heart issues, or inherited eye disease from the line, which tells us much more than any tests can predict.
